3-1-2018 Lock Haven visit
We are back home after our trip to Lock Haven yesterday. Although it was pouring rain all day and night, Brian had a great day being back on campus. We had a meet and greet with the track team, and got to spend some time in the lounge that the Homemakover team had redone for Brian. It was nice seeing the students getting to enjoy the pool tables, shuffleboard, and the comfortable open space to talk with each other. We then went to Bentley which is the dining hall on campus. Brian was actually looking forward to eating there as well as seeing many of the staff that he had known.
At 7:00 we went to Price auditorium for him to deliver his speech. The auditorium has been redone and was very nice. There were around 175 students and staff in attendance as well as having live streaming throughout the campus. The students appeared to enjoy his talk, and the audience even gave him a standing ovation. He actually had some students ask questions that were new to him so he had to think about the answers to those. I have posted some pictures from the speech as well as a few of the room which we only got to see once before. I want to send a big thank you to Sam, Mitch, and Coach Russel for making all the arrangements and serving as hosts for our day. As always, the Lock Haven community was welcoming and accommodating to Brian. Lock Haven will always be close to our hearts.
