Hello All,
We are still looking for someone to help out with Brian’s therapy. I posted an ad on Craigslist and had two inquiries. However, when I reached out to them to set up interviews they did not return my calls. I am not sure what people are thinking when communications break down. If anyone knows anyone who would be interested or want some more information please contact me.
On the spinal cord research front, an acute patient in Minnesota was given autologous stem cells taken from his own fat cells and grown in culture. He has gained back some sensation already. Brian said some trial needs to want a subject who is 10 years post injury with a high level, but in very good health. I know he’ll be chosen at some point. We all just wish it would be a little sooner.
Steve and I both have had surgery in March, so we are just trying to recuperate. We start back to KKI in April. Please keep us in prayers so we are ready for out next therapy session.
